<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor in which the supply of a power source to a switch or a device is gradually turned on/off according to the angle of a display part, and a control method. <P>SOLUTION: A keyboard 13, a touch pad 14, a fingerprint authentication device 17 and various shortcut buttons 18 are arranged on a main body 16 which is connected to the display 11 so as to be freely openable and closeable, and at least partially overlapped with the display 11 when the display 11 is closed. When the display 11 is moved to a direction in which it is closed to the main body 16, and an angle made by the display 11 and the main body 16 is turned to be 10 degrees or less, the supply of a power source to a fingerprint authentication device 17 and various shortcut buttons 18 arranged in the areas A1 and A2 is turned off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
