PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stop an unnecessary flicker correction function, and to restrain the deterioration of an imaging function. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus having a flicker detection means for detecting a flicker on the basis of light volume input to a camera module and a flicker correction means for correcting the flicker when the flicker is detected, while imaging by the camera module, includes a vibration detection means for detecting vibration produced in the imaging unit, and a flicker correction stop means for stopping working the flicker correction means when the vibration is detected.
