PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module which has a zoom function capable of achieving consecutive zooming and an autofocus (AF) function and is small in size and light in weight, and to provide a mobile terminal equipped with the camera module. SOLUTION: The camera module includes: a plurality of optical lens groups moved in an optical axis direction by a guide shaft; an imaging device body placed on a control substrate and arranged at the focal position of the lens group; and a housing for housing them, and has the zoom function by one or a plurality of optical lens groups positioned on an image incident side and has the autofocus function by other lens groups positioned on an imaging device side. In the camera module, the moving guide shaft for the lens and the shaft of a cam for moving the optical lens group are provided in parallel with the optical axis of the optical lens, and the housing body and the control substrate are electrically brought into contact with each other through at least one conductive shaft of the moving guide shaft in the optical axis direction for the lens group and the cam shaft, thereby achieving the ground potential of the control substrate.
