PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for forming a uniform air-fuel mixture, in a fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine having a plurality of fuel injection valves for directly injecting fuel into a cylinder of the internal combustion engine. SOLUTION: The fuel injection device for an internal combustion engine has two fuel injection valves 6, 7 which can inject fuel in the cylinder 4 of the internal combustion engine. Injection directions of two of the fuel injection valves 6, 7 are offset from each other in a radial direction of the cylinder, so that part of the fuel injected from the fuel injection valve 6 is collided with the fuel injected from the fuel injection valve 7 and the remaining fuel is rotated around a cylinder axis.
