PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device capable of obtaining enough light volume at low cost. SOLUTION: For the light source consisting of a reflecting mirror (R) and a discharge lamp (L), one of the sealing parts (L2a) has processing parts (11, 21, 31, 41) formed for deciding positional relations of the both by directly getting engaged with a part of a neck portion (R1) of the reflecting mirror.
