PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera with a shake correction function, which can correct a shake so that a difference in an amount of image displacement between the position of the image center and the position of surrounding during exposure, due to the size of the field angle of a photographic lens, is inconspicuous. SOLUTION: The FlashRom 107 of a lens unit stores shake correction data for obtaining a correction thresholdΔh used for correcting the shake of a camera body 200. On the basis of this shake correction data, the camera body 200 obtains the correction thresholdΔh and limits an amount of shift of an imaging element 202 when the shake is corrected.
