PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing member which is improved in working efficiency and strength, and to provide a steel framework structure using the same. SOLUTION: In the steel framework structure, out of steel framework component members, a beam is formed of a mold steel, and a column is formed of separate members that are divided into a lower-story column and an upper-story column by the beam. Then the lower-story column and the upper-story column are connected to the beam by bolts individually from each other, and the reinforcing member is attached to a side surface of the beam, to which the column is connected, whereby the reinforcing member functions to connect the beam and a girder to the beam. Herein the reinforcing member is formed of an almost square box body that just externally abuts on upper and lower flanges of the beam from an external surface of a rib of the beam, and has bolt insertion holes in upper and lower surfaces thereof at locations symmetrical with respect to each other, which enables use of reinforcing member when turned upside down, as well.
