COATED PAPER FOR WEB OFFSET PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper for web offset printing, which is free from the generation of line wrinkles in the web offset printing work and having excellent printability such as folding crack resistance and printed face appearance. SOLUTION: The coated paper for web offset printing has a coating layer containing a pigment and an adhesive on a base paper. The pigment of the coated paper contains bound water dehydrating at 40-150°C and the amount of the bound water in the pigment is≥0.2 g per 1 m2of the single coating layer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
