<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus simulation device, capable of simulating operation of an image forming apparatus according to a supplied recording medium in actual use by a user. <P>SOLUTION: In this simulation device, a virtual paper supply information acquisition part 35 acquires information for paper supply recording medium to be supplied to a paper supply tray of the image forming apparatus as virtual paper supply information, and an image forming instruction acquisition part 36 acquires an image formation instruction R containing information of an object image that is a formation object by the image forming apparatus. A simulation execution part 38 specifies a necessary recording medium needed for formation of the object image based on the image formation instruction R by the image forming apparatus, and outputs, based on the specified necessary recording medium and the virtual paper supply information, recording medium relevant information estimated to be outputted when the image forming apparatus acquires the image forming instruction R in a supplied state of paper supply recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
