<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming apparatus which can offer information for optimization of apparatus to users, and can support optimization of apparatus by users. <P>SOLUTION: The image-forming apparatus records object data concern information relating to image data which becomes an object of image forming processing and process stage information relating to progress of this image forming processing; based on these object data concern information and process stage information which have been recorded, following a proposal rule defined beforehand, generates hint information about optimization; and offers this generated hint information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
