PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail for a sash roller capable of adjusting height over the whole length of a rail main body in the longitudinal direction without reducing its strength. SOLUTION: This rail for the sash roller is composed of a long rail holder 1 mountable on a channel formed on a sill and having U-shaped cross section, a long spacer 2 mounted in the rail holder 1 and formed by a material capable of cutting, and the long rail main body 3 forming a V-shaped guide channel 3a provided on a spacer 2 and allowing the sash roller to slide on it. A bottom part of the long spacer 2 is planed in accordance with bending and unevenness of the rail main body 3 to adjust height over the whole length of the rail main body 3 in the longitudinal direction without reducing its strength. The rail holder 1 and the spacer 2 can be fixed by a pressure sensitive adhesive double coated tape 4 after adjusting the height. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
