PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of troublesome work in a conventional type cardboard box in which ends of four upper lid flaps are superposed in sequence alternately one by one, where the end of the upper lid flap folded in a fourth order is slid below the end of the first upper lid flap folded in advance. SOLUTION: The cardboard box is assembled in such a way that ends 21a to 24a at the four upper lid flaps 21 to 24 are positioned above their adjoining upper lid flaps and the other end portions 21b to 24b at each of the upper lid flaps are positioned below their adjoining upper lid flaps to close an upper lid 2, wherein ends 22b, 24b of the two upper lid flaps 22, 24 placed at opposing positions below each of them in closed states are formed with a folding line 25 capable of folding a corner of each of the end portions into a triangular shape and a corner of the end portion of the fourth upper lid flap can be slid below the first upper lid flap in a folded state with a folding line 25.
