PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity evaluation method of a dust removing cleaner capable of accurately and easily evaluating whether the cleaner has a necessary cleaning capacity with high reliability. SOLUTION: A large number of fine grooves 11 are arranged to the surface of a block body 1 prepared as a standard work so as to linearly extend at a predetermined pitch (p) in a mutually parallel state to almost equally charge and penetrate resin beads 2 in the respective fine grooves 11 by a writing blush 3 and the dust removing cleaner 5 is allowed to run along the surface of the block body 1 in this state to suck and clean the resin heads 2 in the fine grooves 11. Thereafter, the resin beads 2 remaining on the surface of the block body 1 after cleaning are counted by microscopic observation to evaluate the capacity of the dust removing cleaner 5 in the surface direction of the block body 1.
