PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure distribution detector that visualizes and continuously displays the plane distribution pressure even in a removed state of a pressurized material. SOLUTION: The pressure distribution detector comprises a pressure sensitive heat generating layer having transparent conductive films on both sides of a translucent pressure sensitive conductive layer and converting the pressure applied from the outside into heat, a heat-sensitive coloring layer that has a plurality of heat conductive members with a projecting shape and colors according to the heat capacity converted by a pressure sensitive conductive layer, and a fluid thermal insulation arranged between the pressure sensitive conductive layer and heat-sensitive coloring layer. When pressure is applied from the outside, the pressure sensitive conductive layer abuts on the heat conductive members, and the heat converted by the pressure sensitive conductive layer is transferred to the heat-sensitive coloring layer via the heat conductive members. When pressure is released, the pressure sensitive conductive layer separates from the heat conductive members, and the fluid thermal insulation invades the separated region.
