A method for paying a service charge using an automatic teller machine and an automatic teller machine for executing the same are provided to consult a user convenience by paying a service charge in a direct cash payment manner. A service charge confirmation unit(301) confirms a service charge according to a financial transaction service requested by a user. A service charge payment menu supply unit(302) outputs the amount of service charge and a cash payment menu for the service charge onto a screen. A service charge input unit(303) receives the cash corresponding to the service charge according to the selection of the cash payment menu. A service charge reception unit(304) receives the cash corresponding to the amount of service charge. A financial transaction execution unit(305) executes the financial transaction service according to the payment of the service charge. |
