In a domestic appliance for care of washing, having a liquor container (1), at least partially of plastics (11), mechanically fixed to a ballast weight (2) with a partial region (21) of plastics, by welding the plastics regions together, one of the plastics regions has projections (21a-21c) to be contacted with a flat area (11a) of the other plastics region to provide a shape-fitted connection in the welding process.
