PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency lighting device and an emergency lighting fixture capable of satisfying a specified lighting time and optical output even under a strict ambient temperature, by restraining temperature rise through reduction of supply current to a light-emitting diode with a given optical output secured. SOLUTION: In an emergency, power is fed from a battery 16, and a plurality of light-emitting diodes 18, 19 are lighted one after another controlled by a control device 26. Therefore, one specific piece of light-emitting diode is put off before its temperature rises, for instance, before it reaches a saturation temperature, and that, goes on radiating heat till its next lighting timing.
