PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary brush for a vacuum cleaner permitting easy attachment of a brush body to a rotary body and capable of inhibiting the brush body from dropping from the rotary body. SOLUTION: The rotary brush 22 for the vacuum cleaner comprises the rotary body 31 rotatably housed in a head for sucking dust on the floor surface and the brush body 32 attached to the rotary body 31. The brush body 32 comprises a base material 40 inserted into a recess groove 33 formed in the rotary body 31 and a fluff part 41 erected on the base material 40.
