<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LED drive control method equipped with a control means of noise generated from boosting circuits, in one comprising parallelly connected LED series circuits and boosting circuits each connected to each LED series circuit and driving the same. <P>SOLUTION: Respective switching signals supplied for the boosting operation to the boosting circuits consisting of DC/DC converters provided one for one for the parallelly connected LED series circuits have the same frequency and a given phase difference from each other. As a result, due to differences of ON/OFF timing of the switching signals, there is no fear of noise occurring at an instantaneously high level since a time difference on a rush current flowing at an ON operation of the switching signal occurs at each boosting circuit, and occurrence of noise caused by the rush current is temporally dispersed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
