<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller capable of accurately detecting the defective rotation of a motor even if disturbance is input therein. <P>SOLUTION: The rotational speed of the motor is detected by a rotational speed detection part 81, and stored in a rotational speed storage part 82. The changed amount of the rotational speed is calculated, as a first changed amount, by a first changed amount calculation part 83 by using the rotational speed at present output from the rotational speed detection part and the changed amount of the rotational speed in the past stored in the rotational speed storage part, and stored in the first changed amount storage part 84. The changed amount of the changed amount of the rotational speed is calculated, as second changed amount, by a second changed amount calculation part 85 by using the first changed amount at present output from the first changed amount calculation part and the first changed amount in the past stored in the first changed amount storage part. When the first changed amount at present tends to increase and the second changed amount at present tends to decrease, the threshold is changed by a threshold changing part 86, and the threshold changed is compared with the first changed amount by a changed amount/threshold comparison part 87.
