PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-taking device by which a clear image can be taken in an entire image region irrespective of a distance from a photographic subject. SOLUTION: The image-taking device is equipped with a plurality of lenses 113, a plurality of image taking regions 123 each equipped with an acceptance surface nearly perpendicular to an optical-axis direction of the lenses 113, an image signal input section 133 to which a plurality of image signals each input from the image taking regions 123 are input, a block dividing section 143 which divides at least one of the plurality of the image signals into a plurality of blocks, a parallax component calculator 144 which performs, by using finer resolution than that of pixels, calculation operations of parallax components which are each formed by the lenses 113 and appear between images, and a parallax component correcting section 145 which corrects the plurality of the image signals and produces an image by synthesizing the image signals based on the parallax components.
