PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dynamic vibration absorbing device through which an in-wheel motor can easily be floatingly mounted onto the lower part of a wheel spring, and a method and a structure for mounting the in-wheel motor. SOLUTION: The dynamic vibration absorbing device 20, which is provided with first and second motor-side mounting members 21 and 25, a knuckle-side mounting member 22 to be mounted to a knuckle 5 and a strut 4, linear drive guides 24 with a spring, and a damper 26, is used as a buffer mechanism for floatingly mounting an electric motor 10 onto the lower part of the vehicle spring; and after assembling a guide assembly 20A, to which respective motor-side mounting members 21 and 25, the knuckle-side mounting member 22, and the direct acting guides 24 and 24 with spring are preliminarily assembled, the dynamic vibration absorbing device 20 is assembled by fixing the damper 26 to the guide assembly 20A, and the dynamic vibration absorbing device 20 is mounted onto the side face-side of a motor case 10a.
