PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection sensor for stabilizing a heating value by suppressing a change in power consumption and improving detection accuracy. SOLUTION: Output circuits 4a, 4b in detection sensors 1a, 1b are respectively provided with a first route for turning on output transistors Q1, Q4 by a driving current from a constant current circuit 6 flowing into a driving circuit 5 and a second route for turning off the output transistors Q1, Q4 by the driving current flowing so as to bypass the first route. The output circuits 4a, 4b are also provided with transistors Q2, Q3 to be turned on or off on the basis of the detection of a detection object M in a detection circuit 3 to switch the route of the driving current to either one of the first and second routes. By the transistors Q2, Q3, the constant current circuit 6 is always driven and a change in power consumption can be suppressed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
