PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge mounting apparatus and an image-forming apparatus in which an ink cartridge mounted can be prevented from becoming dirty with ink. SOLUTION: Ink adhering to a periphery of an ink extraction member 80 streams along a first passage surface 85a, through a perforation 86, and along a second passage surface 87a, and drops on an ink absorber 82 from one end side of a second passage surface 87a.
