<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology for restoring a road sign post quickly and easily without removing it from a road surface when the road sign post is damaged or soiled. <P>SOLUTION: The reproduction cover 2 composed of a white-colored elastic cylindrical body 2a having inside diameter D and fitted slidably into an existing road sign post 1 of outside diameter d is constituted in advance. The reproduction cover 2 is constituted by winding a retroreflection tape 2b around an outer peripheral face of the white-colored elastic cylindrical body 2a and drilling a pin hole 2c on its cylindrical wall. The white-colored elastic cylindrical body 2a of the reproduction cover 2 is externally fitted into a column-like sign body 1a of the worn road sign post 1, the pin hole 2c is aligned with a pin hole 1e, and a connection pin 3 is inserted into them to prevent it from coming off. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
