PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain printing paper for clear coating, which has reduced trouble of delamination and paper dust in offset printing and excellent printing quality. SOLUTION: The printing paper for clear coating is obtained by applying a surface coating agent such as a hydroxyethylated starch to coating printing base paper for clear coating, which has 5-40 wt.% solid content calculated as ash in paper of preaggregated filler which is obtained by treating a filler with 0.1-3.0 solid content of a combined acrylamide-based copolymer composed of (A) an anionic polysaccharide and (B) a cationic and/or ampholytic acrylamide-based copolymer preferably in the weight ratio of the component (A) to the component (B) of A/B=2/98-45/55 and has an average particle diameter of 10-80μm by a laser diffraction method.
