A spindle motor is provided to reduce components for coupling an encoder by soldering a double-sided PCB(Printed Circuit Board) on a main PCB and soldering an encoder on the double-sided PCB. A main PCB(120) is arranged on a base(110). A bearing housing(130) is arranged on the base. A bearing is embedded in the bearing housing. A turn-table(170) is fixed on a rotation shaft. A disk is mounted on the turn-table. A stator(150) is fixed on an outer surface of the bearing housing. A rotor(180) interacts with the stator and rotates the turn-table. A double-sided PCB(220) is arranged on the main PCB corresponding to a recognition mark which is formed on the disk, and coupled with the main PCB. An encoder(210) is arranged on the double-sided PCB, and detects the recognition mark of the disk to determine a rotation speed of the disk.
