A temperature controlling method of a water bed mattress is provided to control the temperature of the bed mattress safely, by using a carbon coated fiber thread as a heating body. A plane heating body is built in a waterproof textile of a bed mattress. The plane heating body is formed by arranging carbon-coated fiber thread(40) and non-coated fiber thread as weft and warp. The heating body converts electric energy into heat energy within the range of 10-200 (kФ.m). The heating body is built in an upper cover of a mattress for a water bed. The temperature of the water bed is adjusted to be a desired temperature within a range of 20-60 deg.C, optionally. In the waterproof textile, a polyurethane resin film, a plane heating body and a polyester film are laminated.
