A charge-pump DC/DC converter is provided to reduce a high peak current applied to the DC/DC converter by compensating for a difference between an input voltage and a rated voltage. A charge-pump DC/DC converter(200) includes a clock oscillator(202), a voltage comparator(204), a voltage divider(206), a reference voltage setting unit(208), switching units(210,212), a first regulator(214), and a second regulator(216). When a current is inputted to an input terminal of the converter, the clock oscillator is driven by a free run scheme and outputs a clock signal. The reference voltage setting unit applies a reference voltage to the voltage comparator. The switching units are alternatively switched by a clock signal of the clock oscillator. The voltage comparator compares a divided voltage with the reference voltage and outputs signal corresponding to difference between a reference voltage and the divided voltage. The first regulator adjusts a charging voltage which is applied on a charging/discharging unit, according to the signal from the voltage comparator. The second regulator adjusts the input voltage inputted from the input terminal according to an output signal of the voltage comparator.
