PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser device capable of high-output operation at a high efficiency with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: The laser device comprises a pair of polarization selecting elements, a first optical path comprising an optical amplification part arranged between the pair of polarization selecting elements and a polarization rotator, and a second optical path in which the laser beam reflected on one polarization selecting element or transmitted is made incident on the other polarization selecting element by a plurality of total reflection mirrors, allowing it to round to the first optical path. Thus, the polarized/rotated laser beam rounds to the first optical path under the effect of double refraction at the optical amplification part. |
