POSITION TRANSFER METHOD IN CASE MAP MISMATCHING IN NAVIGATION

A method for guiding a vehicle to another road when a map mapping error of a navigation system occurs is provided to perform a normal navigation guidance by enabling a driver to easily adjust the vehicle position using a control button when an error search is performed. A current position of a vehicle is determined, such that whether another roads is within a predetermined range with respect to the current position or whether a map matching rate is more than a predetermined value are determined(S1-S2). A conversion button, which is used for moving to the another road, is displayed according to the conditions(S3). When the conversion button is displayed, whether the conversion button is selected is determined(S4). When the conversion button is selected, a path search is changed to the most closed road among around roads. A research for a path guidance is performed(S5).
