CHARGING METHOD OF ROBOT CLEANER

A charging method of a robot cleaner is provided to operate a service robot effectively and to charge the robot normally even in charging in a manual method by detecting connecting error between elements. A charging method of a robot cleaner comprises the steps of: detecting(S11) the connection condition between a connection terminal of a robot cleaner and a charging terminal of a charging device; confirming the robot cleaner in a predetermined range from the charging device in separating the connection terminal and the charging terminal; and executing(S15) an automatic charging mode to charge the robot cleaner to be automatically moved and to be docked with the charging device in case that the robot cleaner is in the predetermined range.
