A drive of round-knitting machine has kinematically connected to each other electric motor and vertical drive shaft at ends of which drive elements are rigidly fixed, those are kinematically connected to driven elements of transmissions of knitting mechanism and product receiving mechanism, respectively. Kinematical joints are arranged as chain gears.
