When a liquid fuel wherein the content of sulfur compounds with a structure of two or more rings is <= 2 ppm by mass is prepared and using the liquid fuel, desulfurization is carried out at <= 80°C, the desulfurization can be accomplished easily. Thus, there is provided a liquid fuel for fuel cell that not only realizes prolongation of the service life of employed desulfurization agent and reduction of the cost thereof but also contributes to efficiency enhancement and cost reduction for fuel cell system, and provided a method of desulfurization using the liquid fuel for fuel cell. |
