A program table creation device (100) creates an electronic program table compatible with a multi-channel broadcast for broadcasting a plurality of programs by one transponder at the same time by the same broadcast provider. The program table creation device (100) includes: an information acquisition unit (103) for acquiring electronic program information concerning a program to be broadcast; a processing unit (104) for judging whether a multi-channel broadcast is being performed according to the electronic program information and, if a multi-channel broadcast is being performed, identifying the number and the broadcast time of programs which are being broadcast by the multi-channel broadcast but not to be displayed by the electronic program table; a program table creation unit (108) for creating an electronic program table indicating the number and the broadcast time of the programs not to be displayed by the electronic program table and specified by the processing unit (104).
