<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The flap has a body (10) fixed in an opening (20) of a wall (2) of a tunnel. A plate (11) is pivoted around an axle (13) with two ends housed in a pipe, and joints (14) are fixed at the periphery of the plate and the ends of the axle. An actuator (12) is triggered when intumescence temperature of the joints is greater than a specific value for sealing the plate and the ends of the axle in the pipe when the plate closes the pipe. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for being integrated in a recess, by-pass enclosure or canopy of a traffic tunnel (all claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The actuator is triggered when intumescence temperature of the joints is greater than the specific value for sealing the plate and the ends of the axle in the pipe when the plate closes the pipe, thus preventing all emanations of smoke, heated gases or flames from entering into the tunnel in a simple and an efficient manner. The arrangement of the flap permits to obtain complete closing of the pipe, thus obtaining perfect and uniform sealing.
