An aircraft where the lift is generated by the passage of the lift generating medium over the top surface of the wing or equivalent section only. This may be achieved by the use of centrifugal fans as illustrated in Figs. 2 and 3 or the use of previously compressed gas or air being ejected from slots as in Figs. 4 and 5.
