A wall mounted handrail is provided to keep external appearance finely and to promote safety by excluding a welding process while installing a handrail and keeping a connecting member concealed and to improve work efficiency by simplifying a structure and assembling easily. A wall mounted handrail is composed of a handrail and a bracket. The handrail(10) is installed on a wall of a stairway or a corridor to help a patient, a handicapped person and the old and the weak go through and composed of an outer portion(11) formed in various sizes and shapes and directly contacted with a pedestrian and an inner portion(12) opened downward and provided with a fixing groove(12a), and the bracket(20) is composed of a hanger portion(21) fitted to the inner portion, a bar type body portion(22) provided with a ÝÀ-shaped fitting groove at the bottom and through holes(22b) at two sides, and a fixed plate(23) fitted to the body portion, attached to a wall by a fixing member and provided with a projecting groove(23a) at the top and through grooves(23b) at two sides, so that the handrail and the bracket are coupled with each other by fitting one side of the hanger portion of the bracket to one side of the fixing groove of the inner portion and turning the handrail with a bent portion(21a) of the hanger portion to adhere closely, and then fastening strongly with a connecting member.
