According to a program for seeking an object, a computer executes a procedure as follows. The computer performs template matching between each frame of the input image and a plurality of template images, selects a template image having the highest similarity with an image within a predetermined region of the input image from the template images, and extracts the predetermined region of the input image as a matched region. For an image within the extracted matched region, a motion between frames is sought so as to seek the motion of the object between a plurality of frame images. The computer judges whether the template matching result satisfies an update condition for updating the template images. If the template matching result is judged to satisfy the update condition, at least one of the template images is updated. |
