<p>An endoscope device having an endoscope provided with imaging means for outputting a taken image of an object as an image signal, image signal amplification means, light source means, light amount control means for controlling the amount of light, spectral means for allowing light of a spectrum based on specific spectral characteristics to transmit through the means, brightness control means for controlling the brightness of an image displayed on display means, and a mode switchover means for switching over between a first mode in which first illumination light is emitted and a second mode in which second illumination light having a narrower spectrum than the first illumination light is emitted. In the second mode, the brightness control means controls the light amount control means and then controls the image signal amplification means.</p> |
