PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent short circuit by preventing sucking of blown out air from a suction opening in an air conditioner provided with a wind direction changing blade controlling a vertical wind direction via a movable arm part. SOLUTION: The air conditioner has a panel 20 opening and closing a front face side suction opening 5a, and the wind direction changing blade 30 arranged on a blow-out opening 6, and the wind direction changing blade 30 controls the vertical wind direction via the arm part 31. It is characterized by that an intermediate blade 40 is provided in a blow-out opening 6 side of the suction opening 5, and a flow of air flowing into the front face side suction opening 5a from a panel 20 periphery is controlled by actions and positions of the intermediate blade 40.
