PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device for a transparent or a reflecting surface of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The cleaning device for a transparent or reflecting surface, by using at least one nozzle which is supported by a nozzle holder is provided with a body 4 to fix the nozzle holder, an actuator with a sliding rod 5, a mechanism to recover an actuator rod to an IN position and a holding mechanism, to hold the rod in an intermediate position between the In position and an OUT position. The holding mechanism is provided with a ring 22, which is fixed on the rod and forms a lock having two positions in order to hold the rod 5 in its center position and angle-indicating units 28, 31, 32 of the ring 22 in order to shift the ring 22 from one position to another position by an action of the rod 5, in the direction of the OUT position.
