PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air exhaust valve of a futon compression/storage case capable of maximizing reliability in use by blocking outflow of air. SOLUTION: This air exhaust valve includes: a body 10 having a disc-like fixing plate 11 tightly fixed to a vacuum storage case 2 and an air passage 12 formed in the inside; a cover 20 fixed to the upper part of the body 10; and a lever 40 inserted into a space part 30 between the body 10 and the cover 20 for opening and shutting off the air passage 12 by packing 50 while guiding and raising it to the cover by suction power of a vacuum cleaner or the like. In the air exhaust valve, a packing insertion groove 15 is formed in the upper outside of the air passage 12 in the body 10; the packing 50 is inserted into the insertion groove 15; the body 10 and the cover 20 are assembled to press and support the upper end of the packing 50 by an inside support projection 23 of the cover 20; an insertion projection 42 and a stepped tight surface of the lever 40 are tightly fitted to the inside surface and the upper surface of the packing 50 from the horizontal and vertical directions to keep airtightness.
