PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress adhesion of a foreign substance to an ink delivering face. SOLUTION: The ink-jet printer 1 includes an ink-jet head 2, a frame moving mechanism 51 which moves in the up and down direction a frame 4 fixed with the ink-jet head 2, and a foreign substance sticking avoiding means which avoids adhesion of the foreign substance to a delivering face annular region 3d when a cap 76 is in contact with the ink delivering face 3a. The foreign substance sticking avoiding means includes a frame 75 and an annular projection 78 projected surrounding the cap 76 out of a supporting face 75a of the frame 75. When the ink delivering face 3a and the cap 76 are in contact with each other, the inner wall face of the annular projection 78 confronts approaching the side peripheral face of a head body 3 all over the periphery, surrounding the delivering face annular region 3d.
