PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning tool easy to clean which is capable of compacting the whole shape through housing a handle inside a holder not in the use, developing the handle to a stand state relative to the holder in use and securely retaining its position. SOLUTION: The cleaning tool is provided with the handle, the holder fixed on the front end of the handle, and a cleaning member joined to the holder. The handle position can be changed to a housing position where the handle is housed in a housing chamber inside the holder, to a drawing position where it is drawn from the housing chamber, and to a stand position where it stands relative the holder member. A stand retaining member is provided between the holder member and the handle for retaining the handle changed to the stand position upright to the holder member.
