<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation structure capable of improving reliability of mounting, when mounting a card connector on a circuit board. <P>SOLUTION: This is the installation structure of a card connector 10 having a housing 20 and a metallic cover 50 mounted on the housing 20 on a circuit board B, and comprises a press-fit groove 22a installed on the housing 20, a metallic fixing pin 34 which is pressed in the press-fit groove 22a and of which a base part 34a is supported by the press-fit groove 22a and a leg part 34b is formed so as to penetrate through a through hole 100 formed in the circuit board B, and a tongue piece part 53 formed in the cover 50. By assembling the cover 50 on the housing 20, the tongue piece part 53 of the cover 50 is pressure contacted to the base part 34a of the fixing pin 34 and both are made to conduct and the leg part 34b of the fixing pin 34 is mounted on the land part 101 of the circuit board B. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
