A plasma display panel is provided to cause strong discharge with first and second discharges by forming at least one bus electrode having different width from others. A first and second substrates(10,20) are arranged opposite to each other. A barrier rib(16) is arranged between the substrates in order to define discharge cells. An address electrode(11) is extended in a first direction corresponding to the discharge cells. A first and second electrodes(31,32) are formed on one of both substrates corresponding to the discharge cells along a second direction crossing the first direction. Each of the first and second electrodes includes a transparent electrode and a bus electrode. The discharge cells are divided into two sections along the first direction. The first and second electrodes are used for composing a first group(GR1) for forming a first discharge gap in a first section and a second group(GR2) for forming a second discharge gap in a second section. A third discharge gap is formed in a center of the discharge cells. In the first and second groups, at least one of the bus electrodes of the first electrodes and the bus electrodes of the second electrodes has a different width.
