<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon dioxide gas purifying material which can remove carbon dioxide at ordinary temperature, and an apparatus using it. <P>SOLUTION: The carbon dioxide gas purifying material contains a strong reducing substance consisting of a metal hydride, titanium hydride or lithium hydride, and reacts with carbon dioxide gas under the application of a magnetic field or electric field, or irradiation with exciting light. The carbon dioxide gas purifying material further contains a strong magnetic material consisting of one or more materials selected from a Fe-based material, a Ni-based material, and a Co-based material, or consisting of ferrite, and a porous ceramics material consisting of calcium silicate or zeolite. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
