PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light generating module having a function to compensate vertical color deviation, a liquid crystal display device provided with the same and a method of improving color reproducibility of a display panel of a display device.

SOLUTION: The light generating module has a light emitting part including a first region emitting first and second lights having different wavelengthes from each other respectively, and a second region emitting the first and second lights respectively. and has a power supplying part applying different currents to the light emitting part to emit the first light emitted from the first region and to emit the second light emitted from the second region. One of the first region and the second region is the outermost contour region of the light emitting part.
