<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive electric system for improving the energy utilization efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The electric system of the invention supplies a DC voltage from an AC power supply 1 to a DC circuit through a rectifier 2, converts the DC voltage into AC power, and supplies the AC power to an AC load 5 through an inverter 4. An electric double layer capacitor 9 for absorbing regenerative power from an AC load 4 is connected to the DC circuit. A connection form of the electric double layer capacitor 9 is selected by a first switch means 110 and a second switch means. In the first connection form, the electric double layer capacitor 9 is initially charged from the rectifier 2 through a resistor 100. In the second connection form, the electric double layer capacitor 9 is discharged through the resistor 100 when a voltage across the electric double layer capacitor 9 needs to be lower. In the third connection form, the resistor 100 is connected to the electric double layer capacitor 9 in parallel when the voltage across the electric double layer capacitor 9 becomes a predetermined voltage or more by the regenerative power from the AC load 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
